Acronym for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, is a modular shoe box stackable through a series of metallic feet and designed by two of the biggest names of the European design scenario, Alberto and Francesco Meda for all the neat and shoe maniacs which love to take care about their footwear. The box, availble in aluminium and brass, is made of bent and laser cutted sheets and responds to the philosophy of “Daily Design” that has always been present in Volta Footwear’s proposals.

Design Alberto & Francesco Meda Compasso d’Oro awarded Alberto and Francesco Meda share the same genes and the same devotion to Product Design. Father and son, despite their different approach to design process, one focused on decoration and materials while the other more related to functional products, started working together in 2008, blending their aesthetic with the world’s biggest brands of the Design scenario, Alias, Vitra, Alessi, and Kartell among many.

Photography Leonardo Scotti Leonardo Scotti is a photographer, born and raised in Milan. Interested in art since young age, after graduating at CFP Bauer he begins to work as Pierpaolo Ferrari’s photo assistant, who is still working with. In the last years he has worked for fashion brands, advertisement agencies and magazines.

The most iconic Volta’s design turned into an amusing yet originally mismatched version of itself. Classic Speciale Armstrong takes inspiration from the astronaut’s most famous conquest while keeps being unisex and multi-purpose in its shape. This time with a unique space twist.

PHOTOGRAPHY Michela Morselli Michela Morselli started as a film assistant in the early 2000s for big fashion and advertising productions. A few years later, with the advancement of digital photography, she continued to apply the tricks learned from masters of the "old school", in order to specialize in the field of still life photography for high fashion and sportswear brand.

Set design Hyemin Ro Hyemin Ro graduated in interior design at the Seoul Dongduk University; She lived and worked between Seoul, London and Turin, where currently lives. In addition to her work as Set Designer / Art Director, which leads her to collaborate with several companies and photographers in Milan, carries on various interior design projects. Her works, characterized by an extreme attention to details, constantly experiment with combination between materials, colors and shapes, drawing inspiration by the experiences in the areas of Product and Jewel Design, Sculpture and Architecture.

With this fashion film, we want to celebrate the concept of Instant Classic through the timeless silhouette of the Classic Seasonal Leather. The video is focused on the comparison between “Classic” and its evolution, the “Instant Classic” which is a subtle hue that lies in the design approach.
The moment when two antipodes meet, known as the juxtaposition of the opposites, and the constant focus on simple shapes and durable materials, are essential elements in the design process of a timeless object like the Classic Seasonal Leather.
“An Instant Classic” has been short listed for the Script Award at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival and screened at the Milan Fashion Film Festival.
